HAWAII REPORTS, Volume 11 - IN RE AH HO, et. al. shows on page 665 "In the exercise of the power conferred by the first of these two provisions, the President of the United States, on August 12, 1898, directed by proclamation, that "the civil, judicial and military powers in question shall be exercised by the officers of the Republic of Hawaii, as it existed just prior to the transfer of sovereignty, subject to his power to remove such officers and to fil vacancies," and after reiterating the second of these and other provisions of the Resolution, further directed that, "under these various provisions, the Government of the islands will proceed without interruption." The intention of Congress was to continue the existing government of the islands in operation without interruption, except in so far as it might be inconsistent with the Constitution or treaties of the United States or with the terms of the Resolution. Subject to this limitation only, the judicial power was to continue as it existed just prior to the transfer of sovereignty."

"Article 82 of the Constitution of Hawaii vested the judicial power of the Republic in one Supreme Court and in such inferior Courts as the Legislature might, from time to time, establish; and Article 85 provided: "The Judicial power shall extend to all cases in law and equity, arising under the Constitution and Laws of the Republic, and Treaties; to all cases affecting Public Ministers and Consuls, and to all cases of Admiralty and Maritime Jurisdiction."....

1778 - England's Captain James Cook " became the first European to begin formal contact with the Hawaiian Islands.^[42] After his initial landfall in January 1778 at Waimea harbour, Kauai, Cook named the archipelago the "Sandwich Islands" after the fourth Earl of Sandwich—the acting First Lord of the Admiralty."

'14 February 1779, Cook marched through the village to retrieve the King. Cook took the King (aliʻi nui) by his own hand and led him willingly away. One of Kalaniʻōpuʻu's favorite wives, Kanekapolei and two chiefs approached the group as they were heading to boats. They pleaded with the king not to go until he stopped and sat where he stood. An old Kahuna (priest), chanting rapidly while holding out a coconut, attempted to distract Cook and his men as a large crowd began to form at the shore. The king began to understand that Cook was his enemy.^[52] As Cook turned his back to help launch the boats, he was struck on the head by the villagers and then stabbed to death as he fell on his face in the surf.^[53] He was first struck on the head with a club by a chief named Kalaimanokahoʻowaha or Kanaʻina (namesake of Charles Kana'ina) and then stabbed by one of the king's attendants, Nuaa.^[54][55] The Hawaiians carried his body away towards the back of the town, still visible to the ship through their spyglass. Four marines, Corporal James Thomas, Private Theophilus Hinks, Private Thomas Fatchett and Private John Allen, were also killed and two others were wounded in the confrontation."

1790 - John Young arrived in the Hawaiian Islands on an American Ship ELEANORA under Captain Metcalf.  "In March Young went ashore to investigate the disappearance of the Eleanora's companion ship, the Fair American, and he was detained because Kamehameha did not want Metcalfe to learn that his own forces ad attacked her. Metcalfe waited for two days, but eventually sailed without Young.^{[7]
He arrived in' Hawaii in 1790 as the sole survivor of the massacre of the crew of The Fair American. He along with John Young became friends and advisors to Kamehameha. He brought western military knowledge to Hawaii and played a prominent role during Hawaii's first contacts with the European powers. He spent the rest of his life in Hawaiʻi and was known to the Hawaiian as ʻAikake."}

1810 - Kamehameha recognized as King of the Kingdom of Hawaii/Hawaiian archipelago/Hawaiian Islands/He Mokupuni Pae Aina o Hawaii/Ko Hawaii Pae Aina/Sandwich Islands/Hawaii.  Kamehameha also became part of the Empire of the Pacific/Pacific Empire which was comprised of Aetearoa, the Samoan Islands and the Hawaiian Islands.

1840 - First Constitution of Kamehameha III - Kauikeaouli.

The United States of America, England, and France recognized the Kingdom of Hawaii as a nation.

1848
The Mahele, a sharing of lands were made.  Kamehameha III - Kauikeaouli gave Alodio to himself, his heirs, and successors and to his own people.  To aliens (foreigners) he gave Fee Simple or less than alodio equivalent to 30 year leases.

Total perpetuity of lands "amau amau" was made by Kamehameha III - Kauikeaouli through the Alodio lands conveyed to our people and to aliens, they were conveyed only Fee Simple - 30 years.

The Alodio lands were the highest Alodio patents in the World.  All Titles are preserved in Kingdom of Hawaii laws.

Our commerce is locked in by the gold standard.

1849/1850 - Kamehameha III - Kauikeaouli had metes and bounds recognized in the Treaty of the Kingdom of Hawaii and the United States of America.  Kamehameha III - Kauikeaouli documented our metes and bounds in this Treaty.

Note:  Article XIV shows that pirates, pillagers, etc. can be documented and the U.S.A. would have to take back their pirates, etc.

1860 - United States has no laws that affect Hawaii.

1871 - Anniversary of the recognition of the Kingdom of Hawaii by France and Great Britain recognized.

King Kalākaua is said to have wanted to build a Polynesian Empire. In 1886, legislature granted the government $30,000 ($791,000 today) for the formation of a Polynesian confederation. The king sent representatives to Sāmoa, where Malietoa Laupepa agreed to a confederation between the two kingdoms. This confederation did not last very long, however, since King Kalākaua lost power the next year to the Bayonet Constitution, and thus a reformist party came into power that ended the alliance.

By 1887, the Missionary party had grown very frustrated with Kalākaua. They blamed him for the kingdom's growing debt and accused him of being a spendthrift. Some foreigners wanted to force King Kalākaua to abdicate and put his sister Liliʻuokalani onto the throne, while others wanted to end the monarchy altogether and annex the islands to the United States. The people who favored annexation formed a group called the Hawaiian League. In 1887, members of the league, armed with guns, assembled together. The members of the league forced him at gunpoint to sign the new constitution.

This new constitution, nicknamed the Bayonet Constitution of 1887, removed much of the king's executive power and deprived most native Hawaiians of their voting rights. 75% of ethnic Hawaiians could not vote at all, because of the gender, literacy, property, and age requirements.

With the new requirements, ethnic Hawaiians now amounted to about two-thirds of the electorate for representatives and about one-third of the electorate for Nobles. The rest of the voters were male residents of European or American ancestry.

While historically voting rights were not granted to all citizens in the kingdom, not unlike other countries at the time, the new constitution served to greatly disenfranchise the native Hawaiians and consolidated a major power shift. It even inserted a provision that allowed non-Hawaiian citizens to vote. Moreover, the legislature was now able to override a veto by the king, and the king was no longer allowed to take action without approval of the cabinet. The House of Nobles, the house of legislature appointed by the king, was to be elected.

A counter-revolution, led by Robert Wilcox, aimed at restoring the king's power. It failed.

1875 - Samoa recognized by Kingdom of Hawaii as an independent nation formally.

1875 -  Reciprocity Treaty for Pearl Harbor was signed.  The Treaty was to expire in 1894.  The Claim by the U.S. owning Pearl Harbor is a fraud.  The Alodio Titles belongs to the Families of Kamaikui/Grace Kamaikui and Mataio Kekuanaoa.

1878 - The United States assumes the title of the Empire of the Pacific calling itself the New Empire of the Pacific after plans made from 25 years prior or since 1853, the time of Kamehameha III - Kauikeaouli who died in 1854.

The United States credited Wyllie as having devised the Pacific Empire....the media followed up with lies.  The people of the Pacific Empire were considered "wards of the government."

1880 - Germany, France annexes/assumes Tahiti, Samoa, etc. which was already part of the Pacific Empire under Kamehameha, Kamehameha II,  Kamehameha III, Kamehameha IV, Kamehameha V, King Lunalilo, and King Kalakaua.  

King Kalakaua Protested against all nations who were claiming territories, Archipelagos that were already part of the Kingdom of Hawaii since the time of Kamehameha, and after.

The U.S. Navy had 329 "Naval warriors" in 1892 parading in front of Queen Liliuokalani during U.S. President Harrison's term.

In 1893 an additional 150 "Marines" came off the BOSTON .   

1893 - Harrison, et. als. denies their assistance in dethroning Queen Liliuokalani and moved towards Annexation which never happened:

Harrison's Presidency terminated in March 1893 and U.S. President Cleveland served his second term.  This is U.S. President Cleveland's words on the dethronement:

"January 16.  Revolution broke out in Hawaii, Sanford B. Dole had led the Americans in forming a revolutionary committee.  U.S. Minister John L. Stevens ordered American marines to be landed from the cruiser BOSTON, ostensibly to protect American life and property, but actually to aid the revolutionists." - Grover Cleveland

1921 - Hawaiian Homelands illegal.  Kuhio was only a Prince Regent.  He was not allowed to vote in Congress.
