Vol VI No. 630 Part 2

STORY SUMMARY HILO (BIVN) - The Thirty Meter Telescope is considered the future of astronomy, but what is the future of the Thirty Meter Telescope? TMT Executive Director Ed Stone takes the stand. ******** The TMT’s status as a $1.4 billion project in limbo was apparent during the cross-examination of Stone, the observatory’s Executive Director. Under questioning by opponents of the TMT who are participating in the proceeding, Stone explained how the TMT International Observatory’s (TIO) board has some hard decisions to make about whether or not to continue to pursue the ideal astronomical conditions found atop Mauna Kea, or to settle on a second site identified in the Canary Islands. GOTTA GET REAL
Robin Danner speaking for her homestead association SCHHA on advising Ige on a State Budget option explains the following:
“Here’s the deal folks……it’s a major win that the Governor is putting forward these levels in his executive budget, the most ever to be included in an executive budget. We focused on GO Bonds for DHHL, because in the history of DHHL, it has NEVER received a standard amount in GO Bonds for Lot Development or Repair and Maintenance under which to plan infrastructure projects that will employ construction and union workers…..that’s $20M + $5M = $25M for the first time in getting this type of GO Bond funding. Major Win, thank you Governor Ige.” ~ Robin Danner
It is very curious to me, how Hawaiian Homes a Federal Statutory Program can be indebted by the State of Hawaii who plans on leveraging native Hawaiian Land in a speculative position other than a state agency who is mandated to manage and not speculate on HHC Act 1920 funding? How does that work? And who in their right legal mind is going to sell this type of bond?
A general obligation bond (GO) is a municipal bond backed by the credit and taxing power of the issuing jurisdiction which in this case is the State of Hawaii rather than the revenue from any given project which is funded in part by ceded land revenues from land supposedly ceded to the federal government according to their rules and laws. General obligation bonds which are the bonds that the State of Hawaii issues to meet a portion of its annual budget which are issued with the belief that a municipality will be able to repay its debt obligation through taxation or revenue from projects.
This type of fiscal management that Danner speaks to comes from the mindset of government that generates revenue through taxation. A more progressive mindset would be one in which the fiscal proposal is made of income generating opportunities to increase labor balanced against generated revenue for Hawaiians of all “n” sizes and not those Americans employed as state workers or on a state contract sweat heart deal.
This deal that Danner is talking about fails to empower the Hawaiian Homes Lessee, does nothing for the local infrastructure, has no guarantee for employment opportunities for Hawaiians; does nothing to stimulate any local Hawaiian economy and worse makes her look like she speaks for all Hawaiians ! This is what happens when you have policy workers pretending economic development. Thatʻs NOT how it works, thatʻs not how any economic development program for future independent sustainability works.
Where is the counter offer to these weird ideas that these supposedly Hawaiian agencies and worse disillusioned so called Hawaiians arguing for what amounts to a state budget instead of a Native Hawaiian Budget? Whatʻs with all these millions of dollars that are accrued for no good reason in programs and politically connected crony business accounts at Hawaiian expense, when we are at the bottom of all socio-economic indicators for health, education and welfare.
As a federally defined native Hawaiian, I am appalled at the amateurishness of these political clowns and their idiotic suggestions. The Hawaiian Community really must come together to get these pretenders out of the political loop that affects Hawaiian efficacy. These people do us far more harm than good.

There is an extreme situation that unfortunately many Lahui members have overlooked a serious condition developmentally exposing our Hawaiian Kingdom.
We all need to do is our due diligence.
Now it is up to you folks to figure out what it is.
I never play games when our Kingdom is at stake.
I just don't have the time and patience.
Being in the media is not important, taking care of our people and 'aina is.

SHOULD YOU LAWYER UP
Speaking to the laws in Hawaii, those that were established by Hawaiians and those that were introduced by the intruders. So what is a law anyway other than an agreement by people in common who agree to a certain condition or set of actions that establishes a certain criteria of living.
As best as my research can tell me, Hawaiians have their cosmology embedded in a chant, “The Kumulipo”. Within this extended oration of creation and placement of humanity on Earth, the Hawaiian understands their place not only here in Hawaii but wherever the waters of Kane may come in contact with land which translated means the entire planet. Our cognition expresses an order of natural law, where nature dictates outcome based upon certain behavior, establishing that which is in balance with our environment will yield its most efficient output.
This is what is meant to be “pono”. So the Hawaiian pays close attention to nature, employing what is understood by others as the scientific method of observation; making the closest, tightest observation beyond a superficial surface glance. Herein our methodology is expressed in micro measurements, employed by the Hawaiian interdependent upon a highly sophisticated mathematical system that is quadratic in its exercise and application. These examples of a higher math model are evident in our language, method of memorization without dependency on written data, abstract examples of critical art, social science and homeopathic medicine.
The intruders conversely have exported their notions of freedom to be democratic as an example that best expresses their understanding of a free and independent society driven by a philosophy of mercantilism. Because the measurement of freedom by the intrudersʻ success is measured by linear examples of accrued sums, materialism becomes the common denominator with higher quantities expressing success. The intruders calculate future profitability measured by the conversion of natural resources to wealth, without accountability or natural resource preservation management. They have no real investment contribution other than contrived financial credits secured by multiple derivatives of equally coded wealth that is constantly traded to preserve their rouge investment cycle.
So what laws are Hawaiians talking about? Are they talking about more haole laws of the intruder as exemplified in DOI Federal Recognition or evidence of the 1900 Organic, Act, HHC Act of 1920, State Admissions Act 1959 or the Office of Hawaiian Affairs created by the 1978 Hawaii State Constitutional Convention? What are these Hawaiians asking for, other than more of a dependency upon the United States and less dependency upon the Hawaiian as the recognized first people along with our personal asset here in Hawaii?
Why is it that no one is speaking to our land based assets? With Hawaii sitting in the most remote part on earth, you would think that someone would be speaking to the obvious wealth, that being the land in Hawaii. And if law is an issues then can someone tell me by whose law is Hawaiian land NOT owned by Hawaiians? Why in all this time has NO organization, agency, hui or class action suit been filed to ask the obvious question, “Who stole our land and why is this illegal action allowed to continue?”
I am fully convinced and totally persuaded in believing that any parallel of Hawaiians to American Indians speaking of land ownership and entitlement is bullshit. Those who are predicated on making a CONUS and/or Alaskan claim by limited sovereignty or faux economic benefit are equally disadvantaged, simply because they have failed the acid test of decolonization. Those wanting to be American like, should relocate to Alaska or CONUS and pursue their democratic choice of freedom with the most racist nation on earth and leave Hawaiians to manage our resources for ourselves without their laws and crony capitalistic politics.
