DR HORTON (Ho'opili) VIOLATING PRESERVATION CLAUSE @ HONOULIULI STREAM
ATTENTION:
WE HAVE OWL KILLERS IN OUR BACKYARD
SEE one minute video pasted below to confirm the onslaught-
For all you Ho'opili supporters - your DR HORTON showed maps that their development would leave the Honouliuli Stream in preservation and is colored GREEN on all legends; greenway upon the maps provided to all entities both public and private, and the court- remember now, THIS area was to remain as a natural flow of a waterway for our precious wildlife.
Point- that a specific parcel, as is defined and located above the Kahi Mohala Complex at Old Ft. Weaver Road and proceeds northward from Farrington Highway to the H-1 Freeway along the Honouliuli Stream - that such parcel of "wilderness" was to be preserved as preservation- where "wildlife" gets a chance to make it if they can assimilate.
Well now- the State of Hawaii has hired a professional Ornithologist to seek out where and how many pueo are still yet inhabiting the island of Oahu.
A Inventory of Pueo is taking hold right now as we speak- and if one of these endangered pueo is found at Ho'opili- "look out- all hell will break loose!" Meaning- it could put a STOP TO THE DEVELOPMENT AND A HABITAT CONSERVATION PLAN - Kicks-In, by law.
In the interest of greed, ill-will, and bad faith, supporters of Ho'opili have condoned and approved the permitting of DR Horton to clearcut every living growing piece of foliage it can along the stream itself- where I, and Ewa resident Mike Lee, who is a Cultural Practitioner, have both witnessed the pueo- and DR HORTON is doing such clearcutting practices in this very spot to maneuver and manipulate the landscape in haste, ten years earlier in the vicinity itself than planned for development and pitched to the State LUC & Honolulu City Council- so why is this?
Answer:
So that the habitat of the pueo is wiped clean & fast- purged from ever reaching the scopes of the Ornithologist to confirm- that yes indeed, we still got pueo utilizing the Honouliuli Watershed- Ahupua'a, for its life, to survive on the Ewa Plain.
I have released previously, youtubes of the extensive clearcutting that starts from underneath the H-1 Overpass of Honouliuli Stream working southbound toward Farrington Highway. This was and is- prime pueo territory- but not for long!
This youtube video was recorded yesterday in the field- and published today to show you one particular barn owl nest to be cut down by DR HORTON- a place where the pueo goes to get scraps of food from the barn owl- this is too, where the last of many specie of insects interact to allow for food that sustains the pueo- now being destroyed.
