Kauwila Kaylene Sheldon Hewa, they belong in jail, how did they get away with treason, disrespect and conspiracy?
International Commission of Inquiry Proceedings Initiated at The Hague
here's my mana'o:
imho the US government may have chosen not to send a representative to sit in on the aforementioned International Court of Justice (ICJ) (commonly referred to as the “World Court at The Hague”) proceedings because to do so might signal to the international diplomatic community its tacit acknowledgement that the potential recognition by the ICJ of the Kingdom of Hawai’i as a nation state for the purposes of the proceeding may have merit.
what’s perhaps even more telling is the fact that the US government did not object out of hand the ICJ’s interest in determining the geopolitical status of Hawai’i as the nation state of the Kingdom of Hawai’i.
one imagines that if California, Texas, New York or some other US state were involved in a similar situation the US government would quickly and unequivocally assert that the state in question was its subject state, a member of the federation of independent states commonly referred to as the United States of America (US).
the US government very deliberately declined to make any such assertion or objection in this case leading one to wonder out loud… “why ?”
this quandary is reminiscent of the March 2015 incident in which the then Chairman of the Board of the Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA), Kamana’opono Crabbe, sent a letter, as the Chairman of OHA, to then US Secretary of State John Kerry asking, him in the simplest terms, if the Kingdom of Hawai’i still existed.
Secretary Kerry’s response to Chairman Crabbe’s query was no response. in fact no one at the US State Department even so much as acknowledged receiving Chairman Crabbe’s letter.
Its important to note that, were the State Department to assert that the Kingdom of Hawai'i no longer existed it would open itself up to a firestorm of rebuttal from legal and political scholars armed with unimpeachable evidence, garnered mainly from the US National Archives under The Freedom of Information Act, as proof that the US never legally annexed Hawai'i and that the Kingdom of Hawai'i never ceded its sole authority to govern the Hawaiian Islands nor did it cede its sovereign nation status.
If, on the other hand, the Secretary of State admitted that the Kingdom of Hawai'i does in fact still exist such a statement would call into question the US government's long held claim that it had somehow legally annexed Hawai'i. It would also bring up the matter of whether or not Hawai'i is in fact a US state or if in fact it remains a sovereign and independent nation state and whether or not the US presence in Hawai'i might constitute an unlawful occupation.
in light of the available options a "no response" response was the only practical alternative.
Instead the Obama administration’s response was to inexplicably push forward an apparently hastily put together round of hearings seeking public testimony on the Department of Interior’s (DOI) proposed rule change which would allow US Federal recognition of the Hawaiian people as a “North American tribe”, a widely ridiculed as “ludicrous” formal recognition by the US Federal government which would ostensibly set the stage for the US government to negotiate a “nation-to-nation” treaty with ready-and-willing Hawaiian collaborators, self-appointed representatives of the Hawaiian people, who could negotiate a “nation-within-a-nation” treaty that would enable the US DOI direct control of the Hawaiian people under its Bureau of Indian Affairs thereby effectively blocking the ongoing efforts of aloha aina Hawaiian patriots to restore the Kingdom of Hawai’i government and Hawai’i’s sovereign nation status.
the ICJ’s potential recognition of Hawai’i as the sovereign nation state of the Kingdom of Hawai’i will unequivocally herald to the world that the “the Kingdom of Hawai’i DOES Exist !” EO !

An Open Letter to the Administrators and Educators of the Kamehameha Schools:
Our Hawaiian history should be taught in our traditional cultural manner, through chanting oli starting with the kumulipo and including mo’olelo and open discussion. our traditional method of teaching is experiential and anecdotal, based on real life experience that is relevant to both kumu and opio.
We must also IMMEDIATELY stop lying to our opio by telling them that Hawai’i is a part of the US and that we are all US citizens. In spite of the voluminous evidence we now possess which proves that Hawai’i has NEVER been part of the US and that we are all subjects of the Hawaiian Kingdom and citizens of ka lahui o Hawai’i, our schools are still lying to our keiki. This must stop now. It is hoped that Kamehameha Schools can lead the way in this process by correcting its curricula and course studies TODAY !
There is no need for lengthy and expensive studies. We KNOW the truth, start teaching our keiki the truths about Hawai’i TODAY ! its the very least that you can do to begin to correct 130 years of lies and misinformation about Hawai’i and Hawaiians !
