Vol. VI No. 649 Part 2

My son told me that at school today, his substitute teacher grabbed his classmate to the door and bumped his head on the door. His classmate was crying and there was a bump on his head. These are first graders. I'm not sure what that child did but I would be going to jail if that were mine.

Kauwila Kaylene Sheldon Maybe go to the school to talk to the Principal & parent...one time a child bumped his head while I was a teacher because he was running against the wall really fast...the other teachers were busy talking story amongst themselves and I was the only one watching the kids...when I went to stop the child from hurting himself...I was too late... one of the teachers told my boss that I was "man handling the kids..." she didn't tell me to my face to investigate, she went behind my back...if she wasn't busy talking story and helping me watch the children she would had seen what really happened, so from her perspective she thought I hurt the child while the child was running super fast trying to climb the wall and running in circles trying to head bump me as well...maybe ask questions first...but if your son saw this substitute before do physical harm...then already no moa trust.

Korey DeGraw Oh.. And god can kiss my ass Kauwila Kaylene Sheldon

Dellarica Bingelli She didn't say ignore it because kids exaggerate, she said tell the principal and ask questions. What's wrong with that? Sounds like other kids saw this happen, so once it's looked into, and the kids say what happened, the sub will hopefully have its t...See More

Kauwila Kaylene Sheldon Korey DeGraw For help, FB isn't the best place to seek therapy if you are trying to create the issue focused on yourself instead of the original post of the incident, here's a place where you can talk about repressed memories and if you are going through trauma.

Korey DeGraw Then... I would find that teacher off of school property and it would be dealt with

Stella Perez Oh hell No!!! That person should not be able too work there. That's so messed up

Kauwila Kaylene Sheldon If another student saw what happened and the victim reported it, that was my nephew right Aadam Hammond that witnessed it then that's grounds for the substitute to be removed.

Vicki Creel All of the children who witnessed the violence have secondary trauma and should be allowed to process it in group.

Dellarica Bingelli Shit! I hope you reported it to the principal or someone, that teacher can't be allowed in classrooms if that's how they behave. ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก

John Moriarty That person doesn't deserve to be called a teacher

Mike Remillard My son has come home from school saying he fell and hit his head and went to the nurses office and no note was sent home. I swear they brainwash kids at north star. He dont even like to talk about school

Lauren Danette For real, even if it's not your kid, call the principal and express your concern.
Sometimes kids have a different perspective; maybe it wasn't that bad or maybe it was worse than they understand.
But showing your kid that you take his word and stand up for your community means a lot. And if that kid's parents feel they need to investigate the issue further your comment will (hopefully) be on record.

Sherrie England Mitchell Nope. Stand up. Do something about this.

Martha Grist I would report it to the school board, and demand a follow up! Principals sometimes cover for the teachers-I'm a retired teacher and have seen this.
