25) The laws and the 1840, 1852, and
1864 Constitutions are maintained. It was the desire of Kamehameha IV -
Alexander Liholiho to maintain the 1852 Constitution maintained. The
anti-slavery law was included in the 1852 Constitution which was copied,
nearly word for word by the United States Constitution of 1865.
The
"Bayonnet Constitution" forced upon King Kalakaua in 1878 was signed
with a gun to his head, which means he was under stress, duress,
usurpation, and coercion making it null and void.

Liliuokalani destroyed her Constitution which means she returned the
Constitution of the previous periods prior to King Kalakaua's "Bayonnet
Constitution".
