Oh, did I tell you that the Trump's V.A. Office of Accountability took Jack's claim and referred it for investigation? Perhaps, just perhaps, the curtain here will be lifted and I'm praying for positive changes. The sick and elderly, the Veterans of Hawaii should NOT be forced to leave their home to get medical care - they should NOT be deprived services or specialists that others elsewhere get. Hold these guys accountable!!! Keep this in prayer - Kanaka Maoli (and all humans)in Hawaii are NOT disposable. Not sure what the outcome will be, but...made it over the first hurdle. I am thanking God because we are so used to "NO," and "GO AWAY." This is great news and I am hopeful.

To my Native American and Kanaka Maoli friends - what does the American Flag & National Anthem mean to you? Does it represent 'freedom' to you & your family?
Others - If your land was stolen from you and you were forced to leave your homeland, if your Women were raped and a high percentage of your race was killed off by disease, if the Government took your prime agricultural lands and stuck you in a reservation in the middle of nowhere with no good resources, if they took your crown lands and stuck you in homesteads at the hottest end of the island and forgot about you, if you were forced to give up your religious beliefs and conform to someone else's religion, if you were beaten or put to death for speaking your Mother tongue, if your Queen was imprisoned in her own palace and your Kingdom illegally annexed...would you stand with your hand over your heart and sing the National Anthem of the very Nation that oppressed your people? Would you consider yourself a proud American?
