Robert Ebanez Yes...It is sick how articles portrait History . Unfortunately, the Hawaiian Newspapers too was influenced by these white men since they were printing those Hawaiian papers on their printers and they also understood the language. We know enough of theHistory of Hawaii and will continue researching documents in the future. Do you know when the Wilcox rebellion started? was it before 1893? If so, we know Wilcox favored Queen Emma which I do because of her lineage compared to Kalakaua and his sister Liliuokalani and Why would he rebelled against the Monarchy? Ron Williams is a bright professor and I believe he is sincere ,but his association with the Hawaiian Mission House archives makes me uneasy.

Alexander Kalauokalani Pe'a Many favored the Kalakaua and were Royalists and some were Loyalists. Robert Wilcox was a Loyalist. Loyalists were loyal to nation not particularly monarchs... They could be critical of Kalakaua and some of those policies... But at the end of the day when the chips we're on the line he led a rebellion of 300 people against the Republic in support of our Queen. He is a hero.
