Amelia Gora for Coco Palms issues - I gave some of the guys MAKA ALA THE SLEEPING GIANT no. 4 which included an advisory letter from the Supreme Court attorney(s)....etc..... think the Coco Palms guys are not understanding the issues...also, found testimonies showing that Deborah Kapule had a son when she married Kaiu......so their genealogies needs to be used if they are indeed Kaumualii's families... otherwise it's ok to ask the families for assistance such as some of the descendants living on Oahu ---- for example one such descendant talks a lot and hangs out with Kalani Asam once in a while...don't have his number but coconut wireless works......... now, Deborah Kapule had other family members who could also step forward.....she married Kaumualii our ancestor from two (2) lines.....point is Genealogies, Land Research - make sure you have the Royal Patent, Land Commission Awards and the Survey Notes in hand......add laws too.... same goes for All issues...Mauna Kea, Haleakala, Coco Palms, etc. Hoping everyone stays on track.......will be posting the laws intended to be used only by kanaka maoli/kanaka Hawaii maoli as supporting evidence....remember that Queen Liliuokalani did say that everyone will have to defend their properties individually etc. Remember too that Hawaii was Not Annexed, and the U.S. President Cleveland Gave Hawaii back to Queen Liliuokalani Twice (2x).....do you supposed he was murdered by Presidents Wilson/Roosevelt? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EIOh5KMqXfA also, seek help from those who know some laws on each island....... malama pono.Manage
STATE OF HAWAII CONSTITUTION
ARTICLE XV
STATE LANGUAGE
OFFICIAL LANGUAGES
Section 4. English and Hawaiian shall be the official languages of Hawaii, except that Hawaiian shall be required for public acts and transactions only as provided by law. [Add Const Con 1978 and election Nov 7, 1978]
Does anyone know what public acts and transactions provided by law, will allow the free exercise of speaking olelo Hawaii in the islands of HAWAII?
Does this only apply strictly to the Kanaka Maoli who speak Olelo HAWAII? Or does it equally apply to other ethnicities that speak Afrikaans, French, German, Japanese, etc?
Olelo HAWAII has been spoken in the islands long before the State, Territory, Republic Provisional and Monarchy governments ever existed.
What was the intent, objective or purpose of establishing a constitutional provision for the free exercise of speaking the Olelo HAWAII?
Was It intended to restrict and / or suppress the use of Olelo HAWAII only in certain public acts and transactions?
Ke ‘olu’olu e kako’o’ Mai. E Ola Mau Ka Olelo HAWAII o na kupuna Wa Kahiko. Mahalo no!!!

Wilmont Kamaunu Kahaialii ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ you may be right. The law will definitely bear it out in this case. In fact, I just found out that the warrant for Kaleikoas arrest was withdrawn. Interesting. ๐Ÿค”

Wilmont Kamaunu Kahaialii Ae. E Ho’omau no ka Olelo Hawaii. No one can take away our native tongue unless we willfully and voluntarily, allow, consent, defer, give up, or surrender without objection or protest. The language of our kupuna is an inherent part of who we are as a people. We are obligated to our kupuna, our Ohana, and the future generations. Ka Wa Mamua Ka Wa Mahope! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿค™๐Ÿฝ❤️

All Hawai’i stand together it’s NOW!!!
1898 -สปลŒlelo Hawaiสปi banned in all schools, government offices and churches.
1986 - สปลŒlelo Hawaiสปi becomes an official language of Hawaiสปi.
...
2018 - repeat 1898. It’s not enough that my daddy was ridiculed in school for speaking Hawaiian and now here comes the judge...

Clint Kalaola What I'm trying to figure out is when called to identify himself he did in Hawaiian, but was not recognized. So how can the courts arrest someone they dont know or can't identify that was present for not being present!

Patrick Kahawaiolaa The civil liberties of the Hawaiian people to speak in their native language SHOULD never be abridged in a court of law unless and until it is illegal to use or speak ka olelo hawaii and as far as I understand that has not happened. If the court believes that because Kaleikoa could speak in English is besides the point.
Institutional Racism against a native speaker of ka olelo hawaii smacks of that.
The inference if any were made using the Hawaiian language would cost the State Courts more time & money is ludicrous as there are plenty of speakers at Ka Haku’ula or MCC that can be used as an interpreter like the Courts use for other races using their native language.
If it is language protected in constitution then please follow your constitution.
If it’s NOT PROTECTED then we MUST HOLD OUR ELECTED OFFICIALS ACCOUNTABLE...
He Hawaii au mau a mau.
Oh! Now they recalled the bench Warrant for his arrest. Poor sport
