Oral history by a credible informant about the death of Moses Kekuaiwa was gotten years ago outside of the Archives, Honolulu, Oahu.

The following articles off of the chroniclingamerica website shows an interesting story, and lastly revealing the last days of young Moses Kekuaiwa, son of Mataio Kekuanaoa and Kinau his concerned mother:

1849 - Moses Kekuaiwa was murdered.  According to a credible person, he was choked to death by the Royal School teachers/faculty/administrators.  It happened closest to the Archives, the Royal School site was nearby.

As for Kaiminaauao, his death remains a mystery....could it be that the witness to the murder was also killed?  Research incomplete.

1898 - Moses Kekuaiwa, after the dethronement of Queen Liliuokalani was claimed to have died of measles, and a Princess from Tahiti named Ninito was supposedly brought here to marry Moses Kekuaiwa.    Remember that the real story is that Moses Kekuaiwa was murdered.  See the 1849 entry above.

* Note:  It appears the mother of Moses Kekuaiwa sensed something wrong and had wanted him to be taken to the doctors for medicine. 
Moses Kekuaiwa and others were with Amos Cooke.
Amos Cooke appears to be the prime suspect in the murder of Moses Kekuaiwa.

Something stinks and I know it's not me....
