The amount of monies left in the treasury before Queen Liliuokalani was dethroned was approximately $279,000.

1890

$100,000 for marine railway

$18,000 for the anchors, buoys, and landings

$1,000,000 in gold coin for the Pacific Cable

$5,000 pay of Postmasters

$15,000 pay of Mail Carriers

$85,000 for the leper settlement

$20,000 for the Board of Health

$2,500 for repair of Quarantine buildings

$15,000 for insane asylum repairs

$10,000,000 loans for hospitals
