I took out my rant in the description of the video- so the beautiful bird can be enjoyed and the video shared without the name calling involved on my part to ruin the event- such language/text has been deleted and the title- ---re-titled so as to not offend.

In general numbers/acreage -
Please consider taking the 300-acre development parcel remaining of the 500-acre campus- and turn that 300-acres into an outdoor laboratory for higher learning- for students to study right on site- in situ, the environment of endangered species - the Pueo- Red Ilima- and various migratory birds- and even the Hoary Bat- it would become an outdoor classroom- no expenses needed to construct or maintain- just protect it.
The 300-acre planned for housing/commercial development surrounding your 200-acre campus- as is now planned for- well, it can be swapped- or situated 1/16th of a mile up the road- north- to the 900-acre parcel UHWO owns......nothing lost. The Pueo are not there at all on that 900-acres- nor do they utilize that 900-acre parcel- so this would be a smart move on behalf of the Pueo- to protect it where it wants to be, and is- at UHWO proper..
In this way- the Pueo wins- the students get to earn their degrees in these sciences- UHWO would become a famous world wide class top notch institution- for having the only outdoor Pueo (raptor) Sanctuary /Preserve/ Refuge - right on the campus- wow- and the housing and commercial monies from the leases still flow in by the development getting placed/relocated up the hill anywhere you want on the 900-acres.....very doable.
I have already asked my State Senator Will Espero to investigate this option- and consider legislation.....he has not offered any conclusions as of yet.
Win win win win.

Am interested in your project for we too are aware of the sinister activities operating on our private properties.
Our family are the owners of 2,820 acres of lands in Waikele, etc.
We are also the owners of 95,000 acres of lands in Waikoloa.
We are owners of much of the properties because we are Kamehameha's descendants/heirs.
There are 400+ acres used by the GMO/Monsanto etc. Corporations and they are Not welcomed on our families properties.
Am interested in moving towards developing our properties once again because Kahana Ahupuaa for example was the food basket which helped to feed more than a million people in the past.
