So, we just left a 2/1 apartment that was about 650 sq. ft. The cleaning company, required by the management company (although not in our lease) claimed it took 12 man hours to clean our empty small apartment. That is ridiculous. What a scam.
1st off, our lease did not include our agreement to use THIS SPECIFIC CLEANING COMPANY as a contingency to getting back our security deposit.

“I just have to laugh when one argues "hawaii needs tourism for its economy". Hawaii was self sustainable before foreigners colonized it.
