FACTS FOUND LEADING TO THE MAHELE AND KAMEHAMEHA III'S DEATH IN 1854

by Amelia Gora (2019), a Royal person

Kamehameha III - Kauikeaouli was the head of a recognized nation by those who wanted to take over the Hawaiian Kingdom since the arrival of Captain James Cook.

His father was Kamehameha a Makaula, a seer, and knew about the foreigners who would come to the Hawaiian Islands.

Kamehameha was recognized as the King of a Monarchy Government in 1815.

Kamehameha died in 1819, leaving his 20 children, stepchildren:  6 from Kalaniopuu, 9 from Kaumualii, and 3 hanai/adopted children from Isaac Davis who he had adopted, along with their grandfather John Young.

Kamehameha III - Kauikeaouli had also adopted his cousins who became his sibling's due to the adoption by his father.  They were Hueu Davis, Kale Davis, and Peke Davis.

Kamehameha II - Liholiho died in 1824 in England.

Kamehameha III - Kauikeaouli was a child still when he became King, and was under his stepmother Kaahumanu, and his stepfather Kalanimoku who had married his mother Keopuolani, the widow of Kamehameha.

1847 - Nations Looking to Assume the Hawaiian Kingdom:

The Nations saw the Hawaiian Kingdom as a opportunity to convert the nation into a colony serving them.  They saw the business opportunities of fishing, sugar plantations, etc.

It was proposed that the natives would be mere occupiers and Great Britain, etc. would be the real owners of the lands.

The nations documented in this SANDWICH ISLANDS article which is posted below in the reference section and https://iolani-theroyalhawk.blogspot.com/2019/11/reasons-for-mahele-in-sandwich-islands.html :

Great Britain

United States

France

German Nations

1848

Kamehameha III - Kauikeaouli made The Mahele which appears to have been prompted by the foreigners plans on the Hawaiian Islands (see 1847 entry).

House of Nobles member Kaeo said that Kamehameha III - Kauikeaouli gave 'forever and ever lands' or alodio/allodial lands to his people:
