The United States moved to have the American businessmen in Hawaii help finance the Pacific Cable in 1878. The cable connected to the United States due to fear that the Japanese would enter San Francisco Bay and it would take more than 10 years to get them out.
Note: the Hawaiian Kingdom recognized Japan as a nation first/before other nations did.
The United States, Great Britain, and France recognized the Hawaiian Kingdom/Kingdom of Hawaii/ Sandwich Islands as a separate, independent nation in 1843.
1878 - Charles Reed Bishop and Friends helped to finance the Pacific Cable Company.
Note: US President in 1878. The President in the year 1878 was "Rutherford B. Hayes. He was the 19th President of the United States. He took office on March 4, 1877 and left office on March 4, 1881."
1879 - Celso Moreno, employee of the Atlantic Cable Company arrived in Hawaii to help with the Pacific Cable Company.
Note US Presidents (3 of them) in 1881:

1884 - Bernice Pauahi Bishop died. She was married to Charles Reed Bishop, early American spy, attorney, banker with the J.P. Morgan bankers. She was claimed to be the "last of the Kamehameha's" which began in an article written by Sanford B. Dole, attorney, pirate, pillager, racketeer, planner, treasonous person/conspirator who was part of the friends of Charles Reed Bishop.
1885 - U.S. President Grover Cleveland became U.S. President. This was his first term.
1887 - U.S. President Grover Cleveland stated that Pearl Harbor was not necessary. A Treaty was signed which extended the use of Pearl Harbor till 1894. It was only a lease.
Note: This Treaty doesn't appear to be part of the history books and appears to have been eliminated.
The fear of the Japanese appeared during U.S. President Rutherford Hayes administration.
Note: "Benjamin Harrison was born in August 1833 in North Bend, Ohio. He served as the 23rd president of the US between 1889 and 1893, succeeding President Grover Cleveland. Harrison was the grandson of William Henry Harrison who was 9th president."
1891 - Celso Moreno employee of the Atlantic Cable Company, then the Pacific Cable Company helped to plan the dethronement of Queen Liliuokalani with his helpers Robert Wilcox, Boyd, and Booth.
1893 - Queen Liliuokalani was criminally dethroned by a concerted effort of conspirators/ treasonous persons which included attorneys William O. Smith, Lorrin Thurston, Sanford B. Dole, Charles Reed Bishop, Celso Moreno - employee of the Atlantic Cable Company and the Pacific Cable Company, etc. and others - including the financiers of the Pacific Cable Company.

1897 - France protested against the English in laying a cable from Hawaii "to the British shores on this continent."
Note: It was France who surveyed the Pacific Ocean and received finances from Great Britain and the United States.
The three (3) nations had protectorates over the Hawaiian Kingdom, and treaties as well.

Then, only 2 or 3 generations later is the book rediscovered. Place this book at the top of your reading list!!!! IT IS A MUST READ FOR ANY INTERESTED MIND OF HOW TO DECIPHER SOCIETY'S APPROACHING DOOMS.

Note: Homer Lea's book exposes the United States interest in the Hawaiian Islands, the strategic planning of assuming a foreign nation to protect their borders from the Japanese.
The Pacific Cable Company in 1878 was yet another maneuver to assume a neutral, friendly, non-violent nation. The financiers of the Pacific Cable Company included Charles Reed Bishop, early American spy, banker tied to the J.P. Morgan bankers, married Bernice Pauahi Bishop, and both were conspirators, treasonous persons in the Hawaiian Kingdom.
Bernice Pauahi Bishop was Not the "last of the Kamehameha's" a lie promoted and perpetuated by pirates, pillagers, racketeers in the Hawaiian Kingdom since 1874 with the article written by Sanford B. Dole, who was also a treasonous person, a conspirator, a pirate, pillager, snake, parasite documented along with other investors in the Pacific Cable Company who used lease lands to gain income to support the goals of the U.S. since 1878.
