Wouldn't these islands be up for grabs, without the military? I just wonder, wouldn't China, Japan, or North Korea, try and grab this territory?

Treaties! The Kingdom has treaties around the world and because of the Larsen vs Hawaiian Kingdom in the Permanent Court of Arbitration at the Hague in 2000 over 90 countries have stepped forward to reinstate those treaties that were set aside because
the USA claimed Hawaiians wanted to be Americans (Ku'e Petitions prove otherwise). The truth will set Hawai'i free .. Treaties supersede and it would be in the best interests of all our allies if Hawai'i remained a neutral country. Oh btw Japan was our friend and in bombing these lands targeted only the USA military! It was Hawai'i that sponsored Japan into the UN!

I am seriously trying to declutter my Life and let go of things that no longer serve a purpose, as much as I think I may need them in the future. I am also gathering up my stories, documents and other ephemera as well to help me finish my book. Fortunately, I had found a little notepad that my late sister Nalani had given me. She had taken copious notes in June of 2012 when I ended up in the hospital. I never really read through them, until tonight. It was sobering. She started notes right when my wife had called her crying to tell her of my precarious status.
June 27, 2012: Kai taken to Emergency at Queens. 100% serious. 30% chance of survival. Life threatening. Dying. Doctor said wife and boys need to prepare for possible situation of death. Kai's cholesterol is extremely high. Neck opened with tubes and IV. Doctor said Kai still young, so hopeful. Kidneys, Lungs and Heart failing. On machines. Can't talk. Coma. Life Support.
July 1, 2012: Dr. Chris Fayek, Head of ICU. Comforted wife. Said Kai is in good hands. Still very serious however. Pancreatitis is serious. Assured her he will take good care of him. Nurse Sarah asked him to check Kai's lungs because he may be developing Pneumonia. Dr. Fayek said long sputem from lungs not looking good. Will order antibiotics. 8:00pm Nurse Kerri said Kai can hear.
July 2, 2012: Dr. Ikeda IUC physician. Check IV wound on right arm. Will have surgeon take a look. Kai still on ventilator. ICU Nurse said too many visitors. Chaotic. No visitors. Nurse Denise said Kai has ICU Delirium. Disoriented. Confused. Distressed. Said Kai has Diabetes. Very very sick. Kai will be in hospital awhile. He needs to make major changes. Kai needs sleep apnea machine but have to wait until he is extubated to clear airway. Tomorrow need X-Ray for lungs and pneumonia. Ultrasound to check Gallbladder. Still concerned with secretions from lungs. Has fever. Up and down. Lots of antibiotics.
July 3, 2012: Kai's Birthday. Nurse Denise said need to schedule X-Ray and Ultrasound. Dr. Nip will come look at IV arm wound. MRSA? Sputem lighter. May take off of ventilator today. Extubate as well. Jennifer Thomas, 4th Year Medical student attending to Kai. Breathing better on his own around Noon. Denise said his fever is spiking again. Dr. Lavan came to see Kai at 2:45. Said Kai has Global Encephalopathy. Brain malfunctioning. Denise concurred. Kai not as responsive and not talking much yet. Fever coming back. Dr. Ikeda said Dr. Nip will look at Kai's arm. Necrotic black tissue around IV wound. Dr. Ikeda say he thinks when ER IV put in, medicine infiltrated skin tissue and damaged tissue, so turning black.
I had to stop reading there as so many emotions, including the fear and pain of that time returned. To see Nalani's Beautiful handwriting and what was happening through her eyes humbles me to no end. I am so grateful to have her words and observations. I also want to Honor the Doctors, Nurses and other staff who helped to Save my Life. Having their names helps me. Nalani shared this Daily Journey with me for another four months.
Even when I was released to go home for a week, with three drainage tubes sticking out of my abdomen, before ending up dehydrated and anemic, and back in the ER and back in the ICU before finally undergoing a risky surgery on my Pancreas. Truly Humbling that Nalani continues to Bless my Life even after she left this corporeal realm. I chose this flower photo because it shows me kissing my sister when I see her in Heaven.
This is a stark reminder to take care of myself and not revert back to old habits. That my family was told to prepare for my death. How selfish of me. The Hawaiians named the pancreas, "Mālama." We all need to Mālama. Ourselves First and Foremost. Then Everyone and Everything else in this Hurting World...

Wow - glad you're number didn't come up bro. When I worked for Teen Challenge, I'd tell the students (when things were rough) to pray and ask God to reveal the times they could have/should have died. Very sobering experience. Every single person has a divinely ordained purpose and plan. "The gifts and callings of God are without repentance..."

to take care of ourselves so our families don't have to go through losing us. Sure, what we did, what we do, sometimes we have a deep need to be done with everything. But we aren't done yet.

Subject:
YOU MAKE ME SICK Re: Special Session Should Order Rail Audit
Every person who attends and testifies on and at the Special Session needs to start their testimony asking the members of the legislature this one basic question-AND DEMAND A LEGISLATOR ANSWER!!!
"On what date did the FTA inform Honolulu that Honolulu
was prohibited from amending its contract to include a change in Scope of Project?"
According to the Administrative Guideline foe Executing Full Funding Grant Agreements- per Chapter Five, it states:
Any Grantee, prior to the signing of the contract (FFGA), may petition Congress and request an amendment be made to the Scope of Project" - such as requesting a change in rail technology- doable- LEGAL-PERMISSIBLE!!!!!
WHEN LINGLE ON DECEMBER 2, 2010, TOLD THE TAXPAYERS ON THE HOOK FOR THIS THING THEY BETTER CHANGE THE SCOPE OF PROJECT- DUE TO THE FINDINGS OF THE EXECUTIVE REPORT THAT REVEALED THE FINANCIAL PLAN SUBMITTED TO THE FTA BY THE CITY WAS UNDERFUNDED BY THE BILLIONS OF DOLLARS IF STEEL WHEEL IS USED.
The Governor and Brennon Morioka- both went on TV on December 2, 2010, to inform the taxpayers of Oahu that if they don't ask Congress to amend the contract, change the Scope of Project--- that the taxpayer will be paying more than promised- the taxpayer paying more than what they brokered for.
The Governor suggested scraping steel wheel and going with another type of rail system- one that costs less but can do more.
I, Tom Berg, as an official GRANTEE to the project- took heed to the Governor's recommendation- and on November 2, 2011, acted upon the Governor's recommendations and offered to put rail and rail technology BACK ON THE BALLOT.
POINT:
On November 2, 2011, when Resolution 11-328 was heard to change the Scope of Project- to allow the voters to pick a superior but less expensive rail system, eight council members voted NO- claiming, "that the FTA prohibited Honolulu from changing the Scope of Project." This is patently false!!!!!!
Kobayashi lied too- she is one of the best con artist in the bunch and too many respect her to this day- sick- you all deserve her cunning ways in your face for supporting her all these years. Kobayashi gave/voted for/approved hundreds of millions of dollars of money to the lawyers that were fighting Ben Cayetano's lawsuit- and SHE ALONE WAS RESPONSIBLE with her vote FOR delaying the matter- she challenged Cayetano behind closed doors!!!! Now you know the rest of the story= Kobayashi equals pure hypocrisy. WAKE UP!!!!
.
THIS IS THE TRUTH!!!
THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE FFGA STATE- THAT A GRANTEE MAY CHANGE THE SCOPE OF PROJECT WITHOUT PENALTY- WITHOUT FINE- WITHOUT LOSS OF PLACE-
so long as the change in request is MADE BEFORE THE FFGA IS SIGNED.
WE DID NOT SIGN OUR FFGA UNTIL DECEMBER 19, 2012- SO HOW COULD EIGHT COUNCILMEMBERS MAKE THE CLAIM,
SOME 13 MONTHS BEFORE WE SIGNED ANYTHING
, on November 2, 2011, THAT WE WERE LOCKED-IN TO A STEEL WHEEL CONFIGURATION?
If the rule of law were to be adhered to- our FFGA would be null and void- terminated- for it states in Chapter Three of the FFGA-
"No party may misrepresent or mischaracterize the true terms and conditions of the contract- if such is done, the contract is breached- and considered terminated."
THE EVIDENCE- COUNCILMAN ANDERSON LYING THROUGH HIS TEETH- THERE WAS NO $200 MILLION PAYBACK!!!!!! WE WERE NOT LOCKED-IN TO STEEL WHEEL- AND WHO THE HELL IS ANDERSON'S SOURCE IN THE FTA? ANDERSON REFUSES TO DISCLOSE HIS SOURCE!!!!!
No legislator should approve of the tax increase until THEY GET THE ANSWER- "ON WHAT DATE DID THE FTA CLAIM, WE WERE LOCKED IN TO A STEEL WHEEL SYSTEM?"
Tom Berg- the only and last politician in this town that told the truth- excluding Sam Slom who too, tried.
Don't believe me- then you are a schmuck and the problem- go kiss Anderson's ass you cowards- watch this and tell me I am the liar- I dare ya! You all are wimp- not one of you has the guts to ask Anderson tell the truth and disclose his source- you are so lame- pathetic whiners you are- you deserve what you get!!!!! Wimps.
TWO MINUTES- IF JUST ONE HONEST PERSON IN THE FTA SAW THIS- OUR FFGA WOULD BE TERMINATED JOHNNY ON THS SPOT!!!! BUT NOT ONE OF YOU HAS THE GUTS TO SIDE WITH ME- THE TRUTH TELLER- YOU ALL SUCK- YOU ALL ARE INDEED, LOSERS.
FOR YOU HAVE THE SMOKING GUN RIGHT HERE TO END THIS THING- BUT YOU ALL EAT THE SHIT COMING OUT OF ANDERSON'S ASS AND CALL IT TASTY- YOU ARE REALLY SICK FUCKERS- STOP EMAILING ME - I HATE READING EMAILS FROM AND ABOUT IDIOTS.

Session-Should-Order-Rail-
Audit.aspx
From Grassroot Institute, July 22, 2017

Longtime journalist Mark Coleman talked recently with ThinkTech Hawaii host Tim Apicella
about his recent Grassroot Institute of Hawaii article titled “Honolulu rail clearly a fiasco,”and
suggested that now would be a ideal time to subject the over-budget, behind-schedule project
to an independent forensic audit.
In particular, Coleman suggested that the state legislators use their upcoming special session
to order such an audit, which would allow them to avoid extending or raising any state taxes
until they have better information about why the city’s rail project has veered so far off track
— while yet so much of it remains to be built.
The timing is apt, he told Apicella, because the City Council just approved selling bonds to
fund construction of the rail through to next year, thus taking pressure off the Legislature to
consider anything before it starts its regular session in January 2018.
Coleman said transportation experts warned city officials years before the rail project was
even started that it would be a “gigantic white elephant,” and by now it’s clear that just
about everything that could have gone wrong with the project has — though nobody has
a definite explanation as to why.
