Vol VI No. 673 Part 1d

I have to confess that I lied about my age for the first time since I was 17 (wait, ok, 20 lol - they changed the nightclub age when I was 19, and I was a rock n roll musician). It was just one of those days I did not have the energy to give my whole spiel about the military discount to a cashier who did not look receptive, but could not tolerate the injustice of it, either (the person in front of me got like 20% off for occupying my land and it made me nauseous). So in my exhaustion I pretended to qualify for the "senior" discount, and almost got busted. Lesson learned, it is probably best to just fight for the truth - takes less energy in the long run. Gotta get on it with those Kanaka Warrior IDs.
Then I started thinking about all those Hawaiians in jail. The same syndrome is happening on a much, much larger scale. The inability to tolerate injustice combined with the inability to do anything about it.
Want to live in a world with less crime? Correct injustice.
Das my mana'o for the day.

Lyn Unihipiliowailelepualu Moreno Debra Koonohiokala Norenberg Debra , According to Wikipedia, *this* is the powerful woman who you share your name with (so forget about Debbie Drumpfster): “Deborah (Hebrew: דְּבוֹרָה, Modern Dvora, Tiberian Dəḇôrā; "Bee") was a prophet of the God of the Israelites, the fourth Judge of pre-monarchic Israel, counselor, warrior… The only female judge mentioned in the Bible…”

Craig Turner Mike Leibbrandt yeah but not in the way they were thinking, you know I kept telling people in that country that it was a simple solution if they wanted him out. All they had to do was admit their act of war and that a treaty of annexation never existed and thus neither did the idea of Hawai'i being a state. And that resulted in Obama being born in the Kingdom and Nation of Hawai'i

Theresa Keohunani Taber I had to stop slaying trolls but occasionally the ones that miss our banter will surface and remind why I had to stop feeding them. The Mauna pages are filled with known trolls and "anti sovereignty" peeps in aloha aina groups constantly distract and belittle so I have to stay clear and focus.... Mahalo for the reminder to #DoNotFeedTheTrolls

Awe - the saga continues: Tri West, which sent nephrologist a denial letter which the doctor sent to me, claims that it was an "external" denial, meaning Tri-West didn't deny it - VA Pacific Islands denied it...another "someone" in Honolulu.... How the HELL do you deny a dialysis patient his kidney doctor? The denial says it's not a "covered benefit." Really? It was last year. What's the purpose? To harass Jack because he's kanaka? To harass him because we filed a 1151 claim?
Expedited cardiology appt. set for 11/29/17. That's more than 30 days out and per VA rules, if we can't get an appt. within 30 days, we can go elsewhere. So I called Tri-West and told them to see if they can get an appt. sooner in Oahu. Rep said, "Sure" we can try, but if we do, Jack will have to pay travel expenses. I said that is NOT what the 30 day rule is and she said, "Well, it doesn't apply to Hawaii."
Then she tried to dismiss my anger by saying, "Well, you know in Hawaii we don't have doctors." I replied, "It is intolerable! and the reason why Hawaii doesn't have doctors is because people tolerate that. It is intolerable because PEOPLE DIE."
HERE'S MY TAKE: if the gov't can spend 20 BILLION on a 20 mile monorail that was never meant to work...they can change the policies to allow physicians to live and earn a decent living in Hawaii.

Maria Taylor So...had nothing but this crap until we left in 2007. Didn't have it in California (although the VA was shit medical care there, too, but not like this.) We come back to Hawaii and this starts happening again. This is what discrimination and retaliation look like.

Maria Taylor Here's the problem, Lucy. There's a think called "due process" in America and if the VA is going to deny it, there should be an appeals process so we can question the basis of the denial. They hide that.

ack my $20!" She had the nerve to ignore me completely and walk away. I left my basket and quickly followed the unstable human being into the parking lot. She was clearly walking at a fast pace to get away from me. First sign of real intelligence the woman had shown. When she got to her car she put the bags on the ground to open her trunk.
I was super angry at this point! I decided that her “finders keepers" rule just presented the perfect opportunity for one heck of a teachable moment......so........I just grabbed her grocery bag, and said..... "The things found on earth are kept by the collector!" and walked over to my car and ignored her every attempt to talk about the exchange. I was just waiting for her to take things to another level and wondering if her car was up for grabs too considering it was sitting right there on the earth. I was so mad but I had a sense of satisfaction all at the same time. I can say as an adult that I've never stolen anything ....But, I get inside our house and open the bags and what did I find?
3 pounds of fajitas
3 packs of tortillas
2 guacamole's
2 heads of lettuce
2 Tomatoes
And.....
A bottle of Tequila
I thought.... WOW! Not bad for $20 dollars!
In all seriousness...
this is a joke just to see who reads the whole darn thing!
If you did...just copy and paste to your page or NOT.. I bet I just put a smile on your pretty lil face! Have a great day! Lol 😊

Tri-West Honolulu just denied Jack's kidney doctor authorization. This doc. was authorized last year, knows Jack, but denied this year. He is the director of the dialysis unit. Denial ltr dtd 10/16. Orig. authorization expires 10/18. New hoops to jump thru.
Can you imagine the sick, homeless vet, of which there are many in Hawaii, having to handle shit like this? They can't, they don't, and they die, which is better for the VA budget...

Tim Taylor Respecting your politics and hope, in reality the only thing working here is you ML. Keep up the good work for Jack! I wouldn't credit any politician. If the POTUS was on it Jack would have a fuggin nephrologist yesterday.
