Please consider forwarding communication as pasted below to DLNR- including
my chant for the Pueo- the video above, mahalo.

Michael Kumukauoha Lee

TO : The State of Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR)
FROM  : Michael Kumukauoha Lee
DATE : January 2, 2018

RE : Requesting the Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA) contact DLNR asking DLNR
to answer what steps DLNR has undertaken to ensure that the Pueo habitat at
the University of Hawaii West Oahu Campus (UHWO) is preserved for the
Pueo and the habitat the Pueo has been identified as using, at a size of 150-acres,
        is protected from development.

DLNR has exclaimed that the number one cause for the decimation of the Pueo
population on the island of Oahu -  is loss of habitat.  At UHWO- is prime Pueo
habitat.

DLNR is in receipt of data that as of August 2017, there was recorded
eleven Pueo inhabiting Oahu. Of the eleven Pueo that were documented by
certified ornithologist(s), DLNR is aware that two of the eleven Pueo utilize UHWO
property.  See report attached/PDF.

QUESTION IS :

What is DLNR doing to save the prime Pueo habitat
at UHWO from development- of which is defined at 150-acres?

The 150-acre boundary was formulated around the well documented
and heavily frequented areas sought by the Pueo for refuge.

In and throughout the 150-acre segment, are exhibits of behavior
executed by the Pueo in which include nurturing a fledgling, courting,
           mating, sleeping, foraging, and perching.

The Hawaii State Legislature provided 500-acres of land for the development
of UHWO and of that 500-acres, the University of Hawaii Board of Regents (BOR)
were given the authority to dispense of 250-acres as the BOR deemed fit.

Hence, 250-acres was set aside for higher learning and appurtenances needed to operate
the campus and the other 250-acres were to be liquidated as leasehold for any purpose
the BOR deemed was appropriate as best use of the land.

Within the 250-acre segment, is a quadrant of land comprised of 150-acres that
the Pueo use to survive.

What is being done to protect the eleven Pueo left?

One answer could be, that DLNR, BOR, and UHWO together in concert, dedicate
the 150-acres at UHWO for educational purposes.

The 150-acre Pueo Preserve could be utilized as an outdoor classroom- an
Endangered Species Laboratory.   See area defined below- Pueo Preserve

Aloha to All,

I speak for myself, an individual.  I have long conversations with Uncle and hear his passion for the Aina and everything that is on it (living and dead).  The respect and all the protocols he follows with respect for the Hawaiian culture, chanting in honor for our na tupuna o Hawaii nei.  How the hell our people are at home, in their comfort zone, allowing this to happen, yell yell and no action, like a small house dog with a loud bark.  I'm a shame of our people who sits in high places, stand and watch while Uncle is doing everything in his power to right the wrong, with the few that stands with him.  When will we make a stand for our iwi kupuna, then the almighty dollar that have nothing to back it up but debt.  I say this with truth, all who stand and watch and not stand as one, will be judge twice, one from our na tupuna and the other is from Io.  I pray he have mercy for our people.  Uncle, I support you all the way and will continue to pray for you and others that stand and watch because they are the ones that will suffer at the end.  Mahalo for all that you do and if and when I'm there, I'll speak up with you Uncle Mike...  Mahalo Nui Io a me Mahalo Uncle Mike Lee for all that you do..  Aloha

 Aloha Thomas Lenchanko,

Were under occupation sir, there was no war for the U.S. to take away our riches and spoils, it's called prolong occupation (125 years) of being occupied under the U.S. of A.  So the rule of occupation is:\

https://www.icrc.org/eng/resources/documents/misc/634kfc.htm and there is no treaty of annexation and we all know why the treaty is bogus is because there is no contract being signed by the two heads of state, the constitutional monarch and the president of the united states.  The U.S. follow international law because they have it in the U.S. constitution which is: https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/2441.  This will all take you to the sites that validate thet Hawaii is under prolong occupation.

Aloha Kai Markell,
Compliance Officer
OHA

Inline image

QUESTION IS :

What is DLNR doing to save the prime Pueo habitat
at UHWO from development- of which is defined at 150-acres?

The 150-acre boundary was formulated around the well documented
and heavily frequented areas sought by the Pueo for refuge.

In and throughout the 150-acre segment, are exhibits of behavior
executed by the Pueo in which include nurturing a fledgling, courting,
           mating, sleeping, foraging, and perching.

Inline image

See area defined below- Pueo Preserve
highlighted in yellow:

All,

In God We Trust : Why Do We Still Tolerate Our National Motto?

Why is the phrase In God We Trust still used on US currency, still used to administer oaths of office, still used to swear in someone who is testifying in court, and etc? Such a phrase connotes a sense of ethics, morality, honesty, and integrity, none of which exists in the US Government or any state government, especially Hawaii, the most openly decadent, corrupt state in the country.

The phrase has virtually no meaning whatsoever in today's world because the phrase In King Moolah We Trust has totally superseded it. The USA is a classic example of capitalism gone amuk. The USA and Hawaii have been going down the tubes, turning to the Dark Side of the Force since the turn of the century.

I'm told that some Waikiki hotels are doing away with Hawaiian music, and that one hotel even forbids its staff to greet visitors with the word Aloha. The state song and state motto are lies. Neither has anything to do with the state, but everything to do with a sovereign monarchy that was overthrown on Jan 17, 1893 and illegally occupied ever since. The emblems hanging from the Capitol should be removed. The Legislature has no respect for the motto. There is no righteousness in Hawaii government. There is no respect for the Constitution, especially Article XI, the Public Trust Doctrine, that even the State Supreme Court violated to approve the destruction of 33% of Oahu's best and most productive farmland along with the destruction of the Pueo being pushed out, all in the name of a false god, King Moolah.

The only way back to the Light in Hawaii is a revolution beginning on Jan 17 against an openly corrupt dumb ass donkey Democrat monopoly government that has been in control for over 60 years. People and planet are irrelevant, expendable commodities. How many of you know that Hawaiian Electric was one of the instigators of, and one of the active participants in the Overthrow?

OHA

Subject: Info #34 NB Mtg (2) Pueo Motions A & B New Business

Aloha Evelyn-

This material should suffice-
Maps attached in PDF.

The youtube link is critical as evidence- it condenses the sightings and
can be used as an exhibit to show the Pueo in the 150-acre laboratory
to justify the request. People can type in the title of the youtube and
see for themselves what the EIS surveys missed.

New Business :

A) Motion requesting the Kapolei Makakilo Honokai Hale Neighborhood Board #34 support a letter to University
of Hawaii West Oahu  (UHWO) Chancellor Dr. Maenette Benham and UH President David Lassner requesting
the UH Board of Regents consider protecting from development a 150-acre segment of land utilized by the endangered Pueo.

Map of 150-acre Endangered Species Laboratory identified by the yellow boundary provided for review.

Whereas, the Pueo Project Summary of Activities April- August 2017, determined the population size, distribution and
habitat use of the Hawaiian Short-eared Owl; Pueo (Asio flammeus sandwichensis) on Oahu.  In the Summary, eleven
Pueo were documented and of the eleven Pueo documented, two Pueo were quantified by Dr. Cotin, a certified
ornithologist, as occupying the University of Hawaii West Oahu (UHWO) campus; and

Whereas, the State of Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources has concluded that a cause for the
demise of the Pueo population on Oahu to be loss of habitat
https://dlnr.hawaii.gov/wildlife/files/2013/09/Fact-Sheet-pueo.pdf ; and

Whereas, at UHWO, there are 250-acres available for lease and the Pueo have occupied a territory defined at 150-acres
within that 250-acre parcel as witnessed by Cultural Practitioner Michael Kumukauoha Lee in the Chant for Pueo available on youtube
for all parties to witness the Pueo are indeed there at the 150-acre proposed Endangered Species Laboratory
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d9yoxIGeNCA ; now, therefore,

Be it resolved, that the Kapolei Makakilo Honokai Hale Neighborhood Board #34 hereby supports the placement of the proposed
Endangered Species Laboratory on the next available agenda for the UH Board of Regents.

B) Motion requesting the Kapolei Makakilo Honokai Hale Neighborhood Board #34 support Hawaii State
Senate Bill 570. Motion to read:

Whereas, the Honolulu StarAdvertiser has published two articles by Ewa area resident and Cultural Practitioner, Michael Kuumukauoha Lee,
that explain how SB570  https://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/measure_indiv.aspx?billtype=SB&billnumber=570&year=2018
could enhance the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) process; and

Whereas, the Kapolei Makakilo Honokai Hale Neighborhood Board #34 hereby supports the passage of SB570 of which would extend the
amount of time that an inventory for identifying both endangered and threatened flora and fauna are undertaken on any given segment of
property to be rezoned for development over one-hundred acres in size.

Aloha Mike- your efforts to save the Pueo and provide them a voice is greatly appreciated-
in response, please ponder this:

With a slew of certified ornithologists assigned

from April through August of 2017 to survey for

Pueo on the island of Oahu, and the findings concluding

a population of just eleven Pueo inhabiting the entire island

of Oahu, wouldn't you think UHWO would be honored to have

two of the eleven Pueo living on its property- and the UH System doing

everything in its capacity to protect the Pueo on its property?

All University of Hawaii alumni who give endowments, gifts to the school,
sponsor scholarships, or provide grants one way or the other to the institution-
or students who simply pay tuition to UH - from its community colleges to
UH Manoa, Hilo, and West Oahu campuses-  these payers, contributors into
UH System, are directly responsible for the killing of Pueo on Oahu.

A facebook page has been created to explain and document in detail the killing
of Pueo for every alumnus, student, and potential student to swallow.

UHWO/UH Board of Regents plowed a Pueo nesting site under in June of 2017- forcing the
surviving fledgling to seek refuge nearby in the Hunehune Gulch as depicted here- note,
the area outlined in yellow on the aerial map is the proposed UHWO Endangered Species
Laboratoy being advocated to save the Pueo:

"That school? The one that used its land holdings not for higher learning,
but for a housing venture to make money when the school could have
saved its own mascot? Why would one want to go to a school that treats
its own living mascot with zero respect-   how then will it treat its own students
- disenfranchise them too? Why would one give their tuition to a school that kills
off knowingly and willingly, its own endangered sacred owl from its own property?"
said the high school senior wanting to get a degree in biology, adding,
"If I give tuition to that school, I am contributing to the demise and extirpation of Pueo- and directly responsible
for my actions. No way will I have blood on my hands and support that school's policy to kill Pueo- I am
going to seek out another school that actually practices what it preaches."

Every kid who thinks UH is an honorable institution,
and wants to attend that institution, should be cognizant
prior to enlisting, that their money will be used to kill Pueo.

Remember now- they said - the experts- that some 300,000 snowy owls were around-
and then went, oh shit, there may be in reality,
after further review, some 30,000 instead.....
Compare that to "Oahu's assumption" the Pueo ain't under siege -
Here is our OH SHIT moment-

But wait! There is REMEDY!!!!

If an Endangered Species Laboratory at UHWO were advanced in lieu of development, students could earn a degree in studying
the Pueo and use their data and expertise learned to save these magnificent beings and bring them back to a healthy population.

Mahalo Mike Lee for not looking the other way- but I ask you this- why does it appear that you are all alone in this effort to save these owls
at UHWO and OHA is nowhere to be found to assist you and bring about remedy?  Doesn't OHA and its beneficiaries give a hoot?

Where is Sierra Club in all this? Oh- that's right, giving away their donations to their cronies in office that they help get elected time and time again
who vote for the killing of Pueo- and the taking of Pueo habitat:
