Note: the Wilcox Family are posting documents signed by Mary Kawena Pukui claiming their ancestor was a hanai of Kaahumanu......
Looked into it and did not find that information....
what I did find was that there were missing monies on the ship that Kamehameha II - Liholiho, Kamamalu, Liliha his wives were on.....their ancestor Rives was on it too because he was a childhood friend of Liholiho...........
After Liholiho and Kamamalu died, Rives left the party and ventured off and did Not return to the Hawaiian Islands with the bodies..............Kaahumanu was pissed.
Kaahumanu was the stepmother of all of Kalaniopuu's, all of Kamehameha's, all of Kaumualii's, et. als. descendants.
Rives was suspected of stealing the missing monies.
Dr. Judd was also suspected of stealing the missing monies.
Kaahumanu's sister Namahana was married to Kamehameha, then Kaumualii and had children: Haupu/Kahekili, Kuheleaumoku, Kahai, Kanekoa, and Kaulia. Her last marriage was to Gideon Laanui who claimed that she had no children....Liar.... Laanui became the konohiki in place after Namahana but ? Victoria Kamamalu was listed as konohiki... lands in Haleiwa shows the Laanui parcel is close to Haupu's properties... appears that family tries to step aside from the fact that Namahana's children existed then....and many exist now....with Kaulia as the youngest....hmmm....
All of this was found in research.

The Wilcox Family claimed that they were the only Kamehameha Family left and they also claimed that Namahana had no descendants/heirs.
They have failed to do their homework and are documented liars.....because we are the descendants/ heirs of her oldest Haupu/Kahekili......... the track record of the Wilcox ancestors are high questionable.
