We have cousins in Guam.....they are the Castro's as in Castro Beach.....they are my maternal grand father's family.....we thought we were chamorro but are actually Costillian Spanish - a blend of Spanish, French and Norwegian....grand father married Kamehameha's, Kalaniopuu's, Kaumualii's descendant Mary Kauweloa.............our Guam cousins attended the Hawaiian Genealogical Society meeting years ago....and we support their opposition to the American occupiers in Guam.....r...ecently the Castro name was in the news and it just may be that our families are indeed connected to some of the other Castro's but we remain a neutral friendly non-violent nation..... the Mauna Kea posted the following which is why I posted: "Lori Halemano shared Marvin J. Naputi 's video .

Our Chamorro brothers & sisters struggle with similar issues as us Hawaiians do. The scenes in this video are familiar to me. I lived in Guam for several years and got to experience their culture, taste their food, bond with the people...my daughter learned their dances and sang their anthem in school. It was a wonderful experience for me and my 'ohana and we formed friendships with a lot of Chamorro people that are dear to my heart. #IndegeniousPeople#NeverForgetWhoYouAre#TheLandBelongsToThePeople

Shane Pale to 'A'ole DOI
We have added a form testimony specifically for Hawaiian Homestead beneficiaries (Lessees and individuals on wait list) on account of specific references in the... rule to the Hawaiian Homes Commission Act (HHCA) and homestead communities. The DHHL has not yet taken a position on the DOI rule even though it has the potential to disband the HHCA altogether. Although the DHHL has a fiduciary obligation to its beneficiaries, the department has not held any informational meetings on the DOI rules in their beneficiary communities. Is it because the DHHL protects the interests of the Governor and the State of Hawaii over the interests of their native Hawaiian beneficiaries?
Submit testimony by deadline: December 30, 2015

Brain Damaging Habits
1. No Breakfast
People who do not take breakfast are going to have a lower blood sugar level. This leads ...to an insufficient supply of nutrients to the brain causing brain degeneration.
2. Overeating
It causes hardening of the brain arteries, leading to a decrease in mental power.
3. Smoking
It causes multiple brain shrinkage and may lead to Alzheimer disease.
4. High Sugar consumption
