Sissy you are so brave as Kanaka we first need to know who we really are from our history to current as it slowly unfolds. All the lies deception and unjust done to our Kanaka has stripped us of our rights. We need to restore what has been stolen which is everything that our Queen Liliu'okalani has so graciously surrenderd so no blood shed would come upon her people. The land that this very Pueo is looking over and flies into per the video capture is now graded and grubbed- scrubbed clean of any foliage two weeks ago- all trees cut, cleared, piled into ravine/ditch= all foodstuffs that lived in this mini-forest - that the Pueo needed to survive- counted on for food- during special seasons of the year- HAS BEEN completely removed by UH BOR.
This Pueo - in my opinion- was in shock- disbelief- that UH BOR & DLNR remain in non-compliance to the law to protect it- BECAUSE- that once a CERTIFIED ORNITHOLOGIST QUANTIFIES AND CONFIRMS AS A WITNESS the Pueo as inhabiting the site- a SEIS by law, is to be triggered, period. Why isn't DLNR ordering the SEIS for UHWO?
AS IT STANDS- THE FEIS narrative states NO PUEO OBSERVED ON SITE- this is a false narrative of the conditions of that property and its inhabitants. The SEIS is meant to correct the record for posterity- that indeed, we do have Pueo at UHWO- and the DLNR amend, correct the false characterization/narrative, into a truthful one....the Pueo is A NEW CONDITION overlooked- omitted, purged, erased - missed in the original FEIS exercise- but what does the law require for NEW CONDITIONS- SEIS BE ORDERED- but why is the OMBUDSMAN LOOKING THE OTHER WAY?
Dr. Javier Cotin is a certified ornithologist- he can claim he saw the Pueo at UHWO last Wednesday- when he was there doing a site visit for Pueo. Per DAVE SMITH of DLNR, now that a ornithologist has seen it- a amended SEIS for such endeavor at UHWO BY LAW is to be triggered- SEE NEW CODIFICATION PROPOSED FOR SEIS PROTOCOL attached- illustrates what you at DLNR are supposed to be doing now!!!!!!!
