Found this 1928 Hawaiian song book at an estate sale. In a dusty closet. Sending to my Musician nephew Jeff Peterson who can read it. It was .50cents

Roy R. Thompson That was the 8th edition, so it's probably from the 1940s.

Gerald Farinas The copyright is 1928 but this eighth edition was printed much later.

Roy R. Thompson I have a Pukui Hawaiian-English dictionary. The copyright is 1957. My edition was published in 1986. Want me to explain how that works?

Gerald Farinas This isn’t that rare. I’ve come across several at used bookstores/used book fairs in Chicago, Madison, and Milwaukee in my 17 years up here.

Roy R. Thompson I found one cheap in Honolulu. I think it's also an eighth edition. If I'm not mistaken, the first few editions had red covers.

Carolyn BooneCarolyn and 2 others are consistently creating meaningful discussions with their posts. Here's the thing. I don't care if it's valuable or if it was printed for the 8th time in 2018. Or if there's a truck load of them in Madison Wisconsin. I just thought it was a nice score.

Roy R. Thompson People are just trying to help you be informed and all you can think about is to be rude.
