OK another line from Trump's travel ban;
"Sec. 3. Suspension of Issuance of Visas and Other Immigration Benefits to Nationals of Countries of Particular Concern. (a) The Secretary of Homeland Security, in consultation with the Secretary of State and the Director of National Intelligence, shall immediately conduct a review to determine the information needed from any country to adjudicate any visa, admission, or other benefit under the INA (adjudications) in order to determine that the individual seeking the benefit is who the individual claims to be and is not a security or public-safety threat"
And now what the 1965 amendment to the immigration laws reads;
"No person shall receive any preference or priority or be discriminated against in the issuance of an immigration visa because of his race, sex, nationality, place of birth or place of residence except as specified..."

Mark Miller Maria Taylor No, actually he didn't. That goes back to Kennedy and there is a clause that specifies how the Secretary of Defense can name specific locations per a specific article within the immigration law.

Maria Taylor Trump can clarify it - those holding VISAs and those who have been pre-authorized are allowed - others don't have a constitutional right to our constitution. 50K refugees is a lot of refugees to let in. That didn't stop Muslims can be let in, just not from the countries that Obama and congress identified as problematic. I don't see where Trump is doing anything illegal or where he is acting outside his authority. What I see is the "resistance at all costs" progressive liberals crying over the election and making themselves look absolutely stupid. Not you personally, Mark.
