My coordinator alerted me that Keanu Sai was on news now Tuesday night. She knows that I do not watch the news or tv for that matter because of the lies they tell and how they spin the news. So I stayed there with her for an hour explaining the facts and truth of the matter. She doesn't know of Keanu and thought, like most people that the news reported the truth. Tonight, a few minutes ago I go to FaceBook and see in Kale Gumapac site Keanu's response and I will share it with you all. I know that there are some of you out there that knows not the truth about Keanu and buys into the false narrative. But here it is:

Mr. Daysog.
I am very disappointed with your story on Hawai‘i News Now that sought to portray me as a fraud. It was very distasteful, disrespectful and irresponsible. After my telephone interview with you I sent you the email below that articulated what I spoke to on the phone. You did not clearly state my reasoning, except for a little blurb from the phone interview. The rest of the story was couched in rhetoric whose purpose was to smear. My decision to not submit my manuscript for publication at this time is because I'm protecting State of Hawai‘i officials, which includes the OHA Trustees, from criminal liability for committing the specific crimes of pillaging land revenues under international humanitarian law. I will submit it for publication when I am satisfied that I've done all that I can to mitigate the criminal liability of State of Hawai‘i officials, even when they don't believe I'm trying to help them.
When you brought up Perfect Title Company in the interview, I told you that the attacks I received in the 1990s did not address historical facts and laws that apply to land titles in its title reports that the company produced, but rather the slandering of my name and reputation by constantly saying I was advising people to not pay their mortgages. I never did. In fact, I told you that a mortgage is a "security instrument" or "collateral" that secures the repayment of a loan. The loan is what you pay and not a mortgage. With or without a mortgage the borrower still owes the outstanding money left on the loan. As such, Perfect Title Company was advising its clients that they had title insurance to cover their debt owed under the loan. This is a called a lender's title insurance policy that the lender requires the borrower to purchase in the event that that there's a defect in title and the mortgage is, as a result, void. When Perfect Title Company's clients began to file their insurance claims with their title insurance companies, the title companies in Hawai‘i, such as Title Guaranty led by their attorney John Jubinsky, an all out assault began against myself and Perfect Title Company in order to shift attention away from title companies. At a symposium put on at the Hawai‘i Prince Hotel by the Hawai‘i Developers Council in July of 1997 that centered on Perfect Title Company, Bruce Graham, an attorney and instructor of land titles at the William S. Richardson School of Law School and one of the panelists along with myself, admitted to me after that he could not refute Perfect Title's land title reports. His only comment to me was that America's here and that's just how it is. I was not intimidated by this statement because I knew that America had nothing to do with title insurance. It was the title companies in Hawai‘i that would lose. From title insurance policies to the lie that Perfect Title was telling people not to pay their mortgage was absurd but it persisted even today in your story. This is how shallow your story is.
These malicious attacks in the media by the title companies led to a police raid of our office and my arrest for racketeering, tax evasion and theft. These outlandish allegations were unfounded but it was disseminated throughout the media as if I was part of the mafia. They later dropped these outlandish charges and indicted me on a so-called attempted theft of property by doing a title search and showing that the title was defective as a result of the illegal overthrow of the Hawaiian government in 1893. There were no lawful notaries after the January 17, 1893 to acknowledge the transference of title by deed. All titles could not be conveyed after January 17. The title companies and the State of Hawai‘i could not refute this fact. Furthermore, I told you over the phone that real estate is not the subject of larceny or theft. Only personal property, which is moveable, such as a car or cash, is capable of being stolen, but real property, which is immovable, such as real estate, is not capable of being stolen because you can't move the land therefore you can't steal it. The whole process was malicious, and where was the media in all of this. They were all complicit and whenever I was interviewed by reporters such as Barbara Marshall or Rob Perez they always twisted what I said in order to maintain their false narrative. I also remember you told me in the interview that you worked with Rob Perez at the newspaper during this time, which I then became very suspect because you apparently have the same bias.
In the interview I also told you that my doctoral dissertation, which I received in 2008 in political science, centered on the continuity of the Hawaiian Kingdom that is currently under a prolonged and illegal occupation by the United States. And that what I was saying during Perfect Title was the same information that was in my doctoral dissertation. Your response to me was that a dissertation is "only a theory." I was taken aback by your cavalier comment that was surely ignorant on your part as to what a Ph.D. actually is. It is not a theory, but rather it is research that I had to defend against my doctoral committee members whose job was to be highly critical. If I could not satisfy my committee members critiques of my research and conclusions they would not have signed off on my dissertation and I wouldn't have a Ph.D. They all did.
My chairman was Professor Neal Milner, a well respected political scientist who was also a political pundit on KITV News. The other two political scientists from the department was Professor John Wilson whose expertise is the theory of sovereignty, and Professor Katherina Hyer whose area of expertise was public law. Outside of the political science department included Professor Aviam Soifer, Dean of the William S. Richardson School of Law, who specialized in United States constitutional law; Professor Matthew Craven, Dean of the University of London (SOAS) School of Law, whose expertise was State sovereignty and international law; and Professor Jonathan Osorio from the Hawaiian Studies Department at the University of Hawai‘i whose research focused on the Hawaiian Kingdom legislature of 1851. Every one of my committee members have Ph.D.s with the exception of Dean Soifer who has an L.L.M (master's in law).
For your information, here are the salient points of what is a Ph.D.: it is an advanced postgraduate degree involving three or more years of independent research on an original topic; it is carried out with the support of one or more expert academic supervisors; it results in a thesis that offers a significant original contribution to knowledge; it confers the title "Doctor" upon successful candidates; and is the highest academic degree a student can achieve and is considered the de facto entrance qualification for a career in academia. In other words, getting a Ph.D. is NOT and easy process and it is not a theory.
I am also a prolific writer that includes publications of a Hawaiian history book that is required reading in college courses and is also being used to teach Hawaiian history in the High Schools throughout the islands. I also have academic articles that have been published in both peer and law reviewed journals on the topic of Hawai‘i's occupation, and my paper that I presented titled "Hawaiian Neutrality from the Crimean Conflict through the Spanish-American War" at an "invitation only" academic conference at the University of Cambridge, England, will also be published in a volume by Oxford Press. In light of my publications, my decision to not publish my manuscript titled "Hawaiian Land Titles: From its Origin to the Present" was not because I lack writing skills but rather a deliberate choice I made to temporarily forego the publishing so that I can do what I can to resolve this humanitarian crisis of criminal liability. I have not reneged on my contractual obligations as you falsely reported, but I made a decision based on an extraordinary situation that did not arise at the time I entered into the contract. I am also involved in international commission of inquiry proceedings that stem from the Larsen v. Hawaiian Kingdom case at the Permanent Court of Arbitration, which will be addressing, among other things, these international crimes. These proceedings were reported by Big Island Video News on February 4. Unlike Hawai‘i News Now, BIVN did a good job on the coverage.
Finally, I mentioned to you during the interview of my three meetings with Mike McCartney, chief of staff for David Ige, and my report I gave him that summarized what we covered and the criminal liability of State of Hawai‘i officials, which forms the basis for my decision to not publish my manuscript yet. You made no mention of this or even getting a comment from McCartney himself. Instead, you relied on Ian Lind, a blogger, to attack my research and expertise and imply that I'm a fraud. With this amateur and twisted logic, you are also implying that my doctoral committee members, the University of Hawai‘i's doctoral program, and the law journals that have published my articles are also fraudulent as well.
I can only surmise that your story fits quite well under the heading of Alternative Facts and Fake News because the real facts apparently don't matter to you.
