The weekly news summary we sent out today was likely censored by gmail. I monitor to check whether our messages are getting through on six gmail addresses. Today's news summary was filtered to spam by three of those and completely disappeared on one other, so only two made it through gmail's filters.

Could it be this email was censored because the title of this message included "UK's MI5 Warned About Manchester Bomber"? In case you didn't receive it, here is the link to view this message online:

Those who have subscribed for over a year will remember that for a number of months we were having problems with a disturbingly high percentage of our messages being filtered to spam or junk. That turned out to be a problem with our old email service provider.

Since we switched to AWeber as our service provider in April 2016, about 95% of our messages have been getting through to your inbox. So it is very strange that this particular message was filtered to spam. This has happened only one other time this year, which was with this news summary in April, which featured an article on police violence being hidden by a new law.

If you didn't receive our email message this morning, please consider whitelisting our email address using this online guide. And if you ever suspect you have missed one or more of our messages, you can find links to all messages we've sent out on this webpage.

On a related topic, this February Google changed their search parameters such that WantToKnow.info webpages are now given lower rankings in Google search. The result is that the average number of visits to WantToKnow.info and our other PEERS websites has dropped from nearly 6,000 to about 3,500 per day. I hope this is not because we have been labelled "fake news." Unfortunately, there is nothing I know that we can do about that. I'm very thankful that we are still getting several thousand visits a day. The truth is coming out more all the time thanks to people like you and me. Thanks for caring and take care.
