IN MEMORIAM OF QUEEN LILIUOKALANI
123 years ago, Wednesday, July 4th, 1894, the Provisional Government of Hawaii, with the assistance of U.S. armed forces and U.S. Representatives, adopted and proclaimed a new Constitution which established the Republic of Hawaii. Without the assistance of U.S. armed forces, the Provisional Government could not have successfully accomplished their coup detat to illegally and unlawfully, overthrow Queen Liliuokalani of the Hawaiian Islands. They charged her with misprision of treason, imprisoned her in her own palace, forced her to sign a letter of abdication, and basically stripped her of her rights as the Constitutional Sovereign of the Hawaiian Islands. While the newly adopted Constitution secured the rights of citizenship for 3000-4000 citizens of the Republic of Hawaii, it did not acquire, confer, extinguish, protect, or replace, the rights of roughly 110,000 Na Kanaka Lahui e, Na Kanaka Haole Hawaii, a e Na Kanaka Maoli., subjects of Ko Hawaii Pae Aina. E ola mau no Liliuokalani!!!

  • Today is the 4th day of the 7th month of the western calendar. It is the day that Hawai'i's foreign occupier and the dominator and oppressor of our people has chosen to celebrate its independence from foreign occupation, domination and oppression even as it as it occupies The Hawaiian Kingdom and dominates and oppresses our people.
    For us, the people of Hawai'i, it is a day of quiet reflection and a rededication to our collective kuleana to restore the sovereign independence of ka lahui o Hawai'i, the nation of Hawai'i, and ke aupuni o Hawai'i, The Hawaiian Kingdom.
    Those of us who have chosen to take on an active leadership role in the restoration of Hawai'i, as aloha aina or Hawaiian patriots, look to the past, to the wisdom of our kupuna, our ancestors, and to the lessons learned from our culture for the courage, wisdom and guidance that strengthen our commitment to restore Hawai'i to pono.
    In Hawaiian culture "pono" stands for "harmony and balance ". Hawaiians believe in the philosophy that the universe is continually undergoing the process of restoring pono (harmony and balance) out of chaos just as a pool of water stills itself after a pebble is tossed into it.
    in much the same way we believe that the Hawaiian Kingdom will be fully restored to pono, to harmony and balance, after the chaos of the US overthrow, occupation and oppression.
    it is as inevitable and unavoidable as the universe is vast.
    What we do as aloha aina is simply help the process to become actualized so that Hawai'i can finally become fully restored to pono, to harmony and balance, as it is meant to be.
