  • Kathy Welch The argument is the permit issued is not legal. I do not like the protestors that block our access and have caused 9 million dollars of out lay to police their effort. The protestors need to get legal counsel to handle this expeditiously if in fact this is an illegal permit awarded to TMT.

Let's start with the road. 1. the state built a road on land without permission 2. the state never paid for the land after being caught (it's been 25 years) 3. The MK access road is still listed in the Hawaiian Homeland inventory - it doesn't belong to the state legally
