I live a few miles away from his office.
He was less than gentlemanly (putting it politely) and so I emailed my group (many who you are also familiar).
I have sent Dawn Wasson extra information to help remove the Mormons from Laie and other places.

Aloha,
I am sorry to report that the Department of Interior Office of Hawaiian Relations will not be helping the Kanaka Maoli.
Mr. Kaoli made that quite clear.
I am disappointed at the response that I received from Mr. Kaloi, whom I had contacted several times, and included in many emails.
I was hoping, among other injustices, that he could help stop the illegal targeting of Kanaka Maoli Quiet Title. He said that I did not understand the basic knowledge about both property and Indian Law.
I told him that Kanaka did not want to be called Indians and I was suggesting ways that had not been tried before. It is illegal to target the Kanaka or any minority for Quiet Title actions.
There are also questions about the areas that are, or were under the DOI (Mr. Kaloi is DOI) including the Birthstone near Coco Palms which I feel need to still be protected.
I am contacting other offices.

I believe that the Civil Rights Violations of Quiet Title of Kanaka Maoli should be heard in US Federal Courts.
That land then is returned and I believe that will force the Americans off of the land.

The list will be so long I am not sue how you would keep track.
I have contacted other agencies in DC, too.
I called expecting to get an appointment with the Department but was immediately told the Department's stand. I was shocked. He then wrote a few emails saying he was Kanaka Maoli and wished me well. He could help, but won't.
I am still contacting but why have the Senators, Congressmen, and others allowed the illegal actions on Kanaka Land?
Apparently, the Quiet Title has been going on since 1959.
The only way I can see is to sue.
Federal Courts are available, but again, who would stand up against the politicians and other strong Organizations?
You can file as private citizens in Federal Courts and then push it to the US Supreme Court in DC.
This is a Violation of the Constitution, which is not alright with me.
