Maria Taylor Actually, his position has been that he has to negotiate with these people, and it's hard to negotiate if they already think they are hated or will not be treated fairly. It's a negotiation tactic. These "leaders" watch the news. Trump wants something from them and he is going to treat them well in the media to get them to agree. However, on the other hand, when he was talking very harshly about No. Korea, people then complained that he was going to start WW3. Which is it?

My 1st cousin knows Trump - did business with him. He says everything Trump does is well thought out and strategic. For example, during the primaries, the average IQ of the voters was about 90 - 95. Therefore, all of his speeches and debates used language that appealed to them. etc

Maria Taylor OK - here's a theory....perhaps the politicians and elite in charge in Puerto Rico, accused of intentionally failing to distribute the goods/help from the USA...may have caused this "situation" so that they could blame a "statehood" vote on it....
