CoCoco Palms not in good standing with State of HawaiiPalms not in good standing with State of Hawaii
Amelia,
This is from Wesley at Kauai DLNR.
Coco Palms HUI LLC is not in good standing and has not been for a while, the company registered in Delaware which is known for its low standards for Corpoation!
Talk about Corruption!
Ruthie
Yes we did check. Basically, the business entity must register with the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs (DCCA), to do business in the State of Hawaii. Coco Palms HUI LLC is currently not in good standings. As a result, the recommendation conditions that if Coco Palms Hui is not in good standings at time of the Board Meeting, then the lease will not be transferred to Coco Palms Hui LLC as requested. We are not aware of what condition is not being met to become in compliance with the DCCA requirements.
Sorry, but do not feel that we needed to notify individuals details about the transaction, because the title of the recommendation reads, “Consent to Assign General Lease No. S-4878.” It does not say “Issuance of Lease…”
Thank you for info on Chad & Tyler financial background status. As I mentioned, we will keep watch for unusual activities.
Wes

Wesley,
If there is only a name change then you need to let people in Kauai know so they will not go to Oahu.
Has Prudential the Leases and now Prudential is giving the leases to Chad, Tyler, and whomever else is Coco Palms Hui in Delaware.
Have you checked in Delaware for possible problems in the LLC?
Regards,
Ruthann

Postponing will not change anything, The meeting is not to decide a lease or not, but only to transfer the management rights from Coco Palms Ventures LLC to PR II Coco Palms LLC to Coco Palms Hui LLC. The Land Board issued the lease back in August 18, 1983.

Wesley,
There are no burial maps for the Iwi in the DLNR State Historic Preservation.
I suggest that the Oahu Coco Palms Lease set for May 25, 2018 be postponed for a later date.

Aloha e Hinano,
OK. The problem gets to be when the DLNR wants to lease or sell land that has Iwi on it..there are questions about Separation of Church and State and Freedom of Religion.
This is a problem with Coco Palms on Kauai which is in Oahu for consideration.
I think the DLNR ought to put that question off in Kauai, until the burial sites are located.

Ruthann

Aloha e Ruthie:
I’m sorry we don’t have a burial map of Kauai. As the location and description of burials is a sensitive matter in the Hawaiian culture, we have not compiled such a comprehensive map.
